2nd place at LeMans and of course to your team mates. Number
2 should have been Number 1!!!

Comments: Well, at least you are the ALMS points'
leader!. Indy 500 wasn't meant to be this year but, please,
start looking for a full-time drive in 2003 right now!. All
the same, congratulations on your second place at Sears Point.
Shame you couldn't win, though.... Next month comes LeMans
and I know you will be the winner. Please, please me!. Best
regards from chaotic Buenos Aires. Ernesto Mascheroni.

Comments: I had one of the most privaledged experiences
of my life to work with you and your SF3 car within the Stewart
GRand Prix team during 1999. I had been a fan of yours long
before I found myself in F1. It was a fantastic final year
for us and I shall never forget the spectacular and deserved
way in which you took victory at Nurburgring that year, it
was the best moment of my racing years and a feeling of being
a small part of something so special for you that I will never
forget it. To make it even better you turned up at the factory
a couple of days later and we all ended up in "Hero's" bar
in Milton Keynes with your wife. Ricky Taylors lucky stones
had done the trick. It was never the same after you left and
I have since moved to another team where I still hear your
name said with utmost respect and often accompioned by a story
of some sort of practical joke you played. You bring with
you a special atmosphere all of your own to teams you drive
for. I wish you the very best of luck for the Indy 500 Johnny,
I can think of no-one more derserving of a win. Best wishes
to you and your family also.

Comments: Congrats on getting a drive at Indy! I expect
you to qualify well. Maybe it will be another race nobody
wants to win, like at the Nurburgring and you will be sipping
milk to great applause! Good Luck.

Comments: I have been a Johnny Herbert fan since his
days in F1. I have enjoyed his abilities. His tests in an
IRL car at the Kentucky Speedway were indicative that he would
get an prime seat for the 500. I look forward to watching
him race at Indianapolis in May. My congratulations on his
success.

I've
always admired Johnny in the world of F1 and now in the ALMS.
However if he happens to do well in the current Indy venue,
SO WHAT? A great driver just beat a whole bunch of Irrelevant
Racers & Losers. If you were racing some of the worlds best,
a good showing would mean something. Just showing up there
with those idiots is going to tarnish you in my eyes forever.
Good luck at any rate.

Comments: I
have watched and supported you in whatever team you have driven
for and you have had some second rate drives and second rate
treatment. Highlight of my Formula 1 races was your two wins.
Great stuff and well deserved. Johnny, you're a vastly under
rated driver and its time you were back in Formula 1. I hope
that won't be too long.

Comments: Dear
Johnny,
Just wanted to say I was very happy to see you win at Sebring.
You have been a great driver thru out your long and unfair
career. I know for certain it that terrible day never happened
at Brands Hatch you've be a multi time world champion, but
as we all know life is not always fair. I love how you have
made the most of what you had. Great Job buddy.

layout, easy to navigate and explore. Having printed out a

I have gained a lot of pleasure in following Johnny's racing
career over the years and wish him continued success in the
future...and not just behind the wheel of a racing car. Us
Romford lads should stick together!
With best wishes, David Rose.

Comments: Hello dears David and Johnny: it's been
a long time since I contacted you because I don't have internet
at home anymore; I'm out of a job!. I wanted to congratulate
Johnny on his good half season at the ALMS series and his
awesome oval tests for the Heritage IRL team. Make no mistake,
I would rather see Johnny driving a CART series' car instead
of an IRL one but, what really matters is for him to be doing
something and showing the americans what he can do with a
wheel in his hands!. And show he did!. What outstanding races
he did at Road Atlanta, Laguna Seca and Mid-Ohio. For a rookie
it was great....but then we know what he's made of...don't
we?. Anyway, your shot is to race the Indy 500 (and win, of
course!)in 2002, and it's good if you put on some miles in
ovals before you go there; so the IRL is the place to be.
Besides, next year we in latinamerica will at last be able
to watch the IRL series thanks to ESPN so the timing couldn't
be better!. To start watching a new (for us) series and with
your favourite driver in it........
I wanted to wish you and all your family and friends -including
a Mr.Zanardi...- a very happy Christmas and new year. Johnny
rules!!!!!!!
Best regards from Argentina, ERNESTO MASCHERONI.

Comments: Hello,
i have been a huge fan of yours since the early 90's when
you partnered Mika Hakkinen at lotus. I would love to see
you race over here in the IRL, but i read online that you
might go to the new Premier 1 league next year. Is this true?
What are you racing plans for 2002?
